Authentication in WeGuide

In WeGuide, we use a Magic Link instead of a password, which is safer, quicker and easier. Below we explain how it works!

What is a Magic Link?

• The verification link is a unique link that securely logs a Participant into WeGuide.
• The link verifies you based on your unique email or mobile to verify your identity and gain access to your account. 
• This process is quicker and easier for you, and means you don't have to remember another password!
• And don't worry - it's also very secure, as long as only you have access to your inbox, no one else can access your WeGuide account. 

How does this Magic Link login process work?

• While going through the login process, the WeGuide system will generate a verification link, which we call a "Magic Link"
• This is what it looks like, when you try to log in or sign up to your account:

Additional notes

• Keep your verification link private by not sharing your mailbox access.
• The verification link is valid for one hour and one click only.
• It is not possible to re-use a link once it has been clicked.
