How to pause a participant

Modified on Wed, 06 Jul 2022 at 05:35 PM

Sometimes our participants need a break! In this article, we will describe how you can pause a participant in WeGuide.

What does pausing a participant do?

Pausing a participant will make sure that their participation in programs is paused, but they can still receive communications if you want them to.

- The participant is no longer able to complete any engagements. When they login to the application, their list of items will be empty and they can't start a new survey or continue with a previous one. The moment the status for the participant is changed to active again, they will be able to continue completing surveys.

- The participant will still receive communications. If you want communications to stop as well, you will need to opt-out the participant. See here for how to opt-out participants.
