Here we will discuss the way to add Records to a Complex program. For more information on what Records and Participants are - please see this article.

Instructions for Adding Records and Participants for Complex Programs

Step 1: Click on the Edit Programs button on the side bar

Step 2: Click on the Edit Programs icon

• Click on the Edit Programs link for your relevant Program
• 

Step 3: Click on Add Record

Step 4: Add in your Record detail

• Firstly, you need to add in all of your Record details. These are the details that define the Record.
• These details will be used to identify a record, and allow the Participants to identify the record they are completing surveys and engagements for.

Note the Record Attributes are defined during the setup of the Program. One of the attributes is defined as the Record Identifier - in this example it is the Patient ID

Step 5: Add in your Participant details

• You can access the drop-down by clicking on the input field. 
• This will give you a list of Participants that currently exist in your system.

Adding New Participants

• If your Participant is new, and not already in the system, enter their e-mail and press Add. 

• You will then be prompted to enter the Participant details
• Once you have entered all of the details, click Create & Add
• Your Participant has now been successfully added to the Record, and saved to the system
• Then click "Next" in the bottom right corner to move to the next Participant

• If required, you can also add some additional participant characteristics. These fields are optional, as you can see underneath
• 

           Ability to add additional fields for a participant.

Adding pre-existing Participants

• If your Participant is already in the system, (for example a Clinician who is being added to many Records), you can simply add their e-mail address and click Add

Once you have added all your participants, click "Finish" and you have successfully created your Record.
