How to use Accordions

Modified on Fri, 21 Jan 2022 at 05:57 PM

Accordions allow you to structure your information section for each program.

  • An Accordion is a way of grouping information into a drop-down displayed in your Information section.
  • It allows Users to scroll and access critical information quickly.
  • The information is created and added on the Program level.
  • When building a Program, Users can add accordions/ collapsable content that suits your program details.

Here is a video to help you understand the steps visually:

Instructions to use Accordions

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Step 1: Add accordion

  • First, go to the Program you would like to add the Accordian to, click on the Edit Program icon.
  • Then once in the Edit Program screen, click the Add accordion button. It will bring you to a blank drop-down menu.
  • You can then add the Accordion title and its description.
  • The first input is the Title, which will be the clickable aspect of the drop-down menu. So make sure the title is descriptive and easy to understand.

  • The second input is the actual content of the drop-down, which is an HTML field. You can add dynamic content.

See WeGuide content guide for more information on how to add content. For an enhanced interactive experience, you can include photographs and videos.

  • You can also integrate multiple accordions into the program. Just click on the Add Accordian multiple times to add multiple Accordians.

  • Here is an example of multiple accordians, and adding rich media to one of the accordians:

Step 2: Save program

  • As soon as the details for Accordions are updated, click Save program, and the information will appear in your program.
