How participants can use WeGuide or your white-label app?

Modified on Wed, 15 Nov 2023 at 01:13 PM

In this article, we're going to explain the two ways a participant can use the WeGuide application or your white-label application.

How participants can use WeGuide or your white-label app?

The WeGuide application your white-label app is available as a web application or as an iOS or Android application. The web application can be accessed via any modern browser (see this article for our supported browsers) and the application can be downloaded via the iOS and Android app store. In case you have a white-label app the URLs underneath will be different, but the WeGuide app can be found here:

Participants can decide how they want to use our software. Normally it's up to them if they want to use the web application or our iOS and Android application, but as an organisation, you can also influence this. As part of your program, you can send participants a welcome SMS or e-mail where you can point them towards installing the native application on their device. Certain clients have decided to disable the web application completely, which is also an option.

How our application will open for participants

The WeGuide application (or any of our white-label applications), will open based on the fact if the participant has the iOS/Android app installed or not. If the app is not installed on the device, the web application will open for the participant. If the app is installed, then whenever they click on a link received via e-mail or SMS, the iOS/Android app will open automatically.

In case the participant doesn't have the app installed but is using a device that's compatible with our iOS or Android app, we will prompt them in the app to install our application, since the participant experience will be enhanced by this. The prompt is subtle and not persistent so that participants are not annoyed by it. Underneath you can find two screenshots of how the prompt looks inside the web application:
