TABLE OF CONTENTS

What is an Action Status?

  • An Action Status is simply a condition or state that a Participant can be in within a Program. You can pre-define what each stage or "Action Status" is when you create a program. The change of an Action Status can trigger certain things to happen, such as sending out Engagements to participants.
    • For example an Action Status could be used to define different stages of a Participant's journey - such as Intake, Treatment, Discharge.
  • At each stage - once the Action Status is changed, this can trigger specific Engagements to go out that are relevant to that Action Status.
    • For Example, Intake may trigger an Intake questionnaire, while Discharge may trigger a treatment evaluation questionnaire.

How to create an Action Status

You can only create an Action Status when you setup  Program for the first time. So make sure you predefine and create your Action Status at the beginning.

Step 1: Click on Add Program in the Edit Programs section

Step 2: Click on the + Add Action Status button

  • In the Program Details towards the bottom, click on the + Add Action Status button

Step 3: Enter the details of your Action Status

  • Add the Title of your Action Status, EG Discharge
  • If Manual - no SQL is needed
  • If Automatic - add in the SQL condition that will trigger that Action Status. In case you want to learn more about how to write SQL logic, then please read the article on how to use logic in WeGuide.
  • Select the colour that you want to attribute to the action status. This color will be used a badge to display action status on the record and participant dashboard of the program.
  • Add the display name of the action status, you can add special characters and emojis to the display name. This will be specifically used to display on the record and participant dashboard of the program.

Transition Manual = you manually change the Action Status in the dashboard
Transition Automatic = you can define an SQL query that will trigger the Action Status change

Step 4: Click on "Save"

  • Once you have entered the details of your Action Status, click on Save in the Top Right of your Program Builder

This is how the action status on the record dashboard looks like
