In this article, we will explain to you how you can make your app content multi-language. The multi-language functionality is automatically turned on inside the WeGuide application. If you want to enable it on your own white-label application, then please read more about this in this article.

You can also use our interactive demonstration of this functionality:

How to make your application multi-language

In order to deliver multi-language content to your participants, you will need to follow a few steps. We will describe them in this article.

Step 1: Add supported languages

  • When you're logged in as an Administrator to your environment, go to the Settings tab and click inside the input box for Supported languages. Over here, you are able to add one or multiple additional languages. Add your additional languages and press Save.
  • The input fields that allow multi-language content willl now show an extra language tab on top of the field itself.

Step 2: Add your multi-language content in the template

  • Click on the new language tab for the input field and start adding in the translated content. Save the field like you would do normally and the translated content will be added. A green checkmark ✅ will show in case the field is populated with content.
  • Multi-language content can be added to generic app settings, but also to notification content.

The video underneath demonstrates the steps underneath. Go and give it a try!
