How to schedule engagements based on action status.
In order to schedule engagements based on action statuses, you will need to setup your action statuses, whereafter you can select them in the program builder. We will explain you all the steps.
Step 1: Setup your action statuses.
- Before you can start scheduling engagements based on action statuses, you need to add and save at least 1 action status to your program. In this article, you can learn more about how you can set up action statuses.
Step 2: Make engagement dependent on action status.
- Now that you've set up your action statuses, you can start making engagement dependent on it
- In the condition for "When should we send it", click on the dropdown and select After record has action status
- Underneath, the different action statuses will show up now, select one.
- Now you can decide if you want to trigger this engagement every time the condition is met or only once.
- If you select every time when the condition is met, the engagement will trigger every time the record will transition into this action status. So this could mean that this engagement gets triggered multiple times
- If you select, only once per patient/participant, then the engagement will only be triggered to the participant the first time that the record get this action status. If the record transitions into the action status for the second time, no engagement will be triggered in case the participant has already received this engagement once.
