TABLE OF CONTENTS

What is an Action Status?

  • An Action Status is simply a condition or state that a Participant can be in within a Program. You can pre-define what each stage or "Action Status" is when you create a program. The change of an Action Status can trigger certain things to happen, such as sending out Engagements to participants.
    • For example an Action Status could be used to define different stages of a Participant's journey - such as Intake, Treatment, Discharge.
  • At each stage - once the Action Status is changed, this can trigger specific Engagements to go out that are relevant to that Action Status.
    • For Example, Intake may trigger an Intake questionnaire, while Discharge may trigger a treatment evaluation questionnaire.

How to change an Action Status manually

Create a step-by-step guide

Step 1: Click on the Record Dashboard icon on the Home page

  • Click on this icon to Access the Records Dashboard

Step 2: Click on the ActionStatus for your relevant Record

  • Click on the ActionStatus column corresponding to your Record
  • Then click on the dropdown menu to see the Action Statuses available for your Record
  • Select the relevant Action Status

Step 3: Select your Action Status and Accept

  • Select the Action Status that you would like to change to
  • The click somewhere else in the screen, to prompt the pop up box asking if you are sure

  • Click "OK" for "Are you sure?"

Your Action Status should now be changed - you will see a green box in the right hand of the screen saying "Success"

Step 4 (optional): cancel engagement based on previous action status

  • In case you're using the action status to trigger engagements, then decide if you want the old engagements that are scheduled based on the old action status to be available for the participant or not. If you don't want these engagements to be available anymore (now or in the future), then make sure you cancel these engagements.
